About the role and your responsibilities

Are you that highly skilled educator who wants to work on strengthening our students' knowledge results and has a particular focus on ensuring that students in need of support reach their maximum potential? Do you have a special interest in joint planning and joint assessment to increase equality in educational quality? Then you might be the person we are looking for in our temporary position at the Tuna School District.

As a primary and lower secondary school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as current regulatory documents. You are well acquainted with the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching, working to promote students' learning and development.

We currently have several highly committed teachers who conduct high-quality teaching for our students. As a teacher with us, you conduct varied, creative, and enthusiastic teaching for our students, both individually and in teams. You find strategies to reach every student and contribute to increased goal fulfillment. You plan, assess, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's regulatory documents and in systematic quality work. The accessible learning environment is a focus area.

We are looking for you

You who apply for this temporary position with us are a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish, Social Studies (SO), and English for grades 4–6, with experience of teaching in middle and lower secondary school.

For the position, we also see that you are a clear leader in the classroom. You have an interest in developing both your teaching based on research and proven experience. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. Through clear structures and an organized approach, you find ways to reach our students while easily building good and sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike. To fit into the role of teacher at the Tuna School District, you need to be a pronounced team player. Everyone is included.

About the workplace

Three parts make up the Tuna School District: Tunaskolan primary school grades F–9, Tunaskolan adapted primary school, and Mårtenskolan grades F–6. An operation that requires both heart and mind. An operation that requires us to plan together, collaborate, and assess together. An operation that then gives everything back when our students feel safe, have study peace, have recess, and get to develop their knowledge under the leadership of their teachers, their leisure-time pedagogues, and other school staff.
