Bjärnum School is now seeking an engaged and certified teacher in mathematics, English, and Swedish as a second language for grades 7–9. Here, you have the opportunity to make a real difference – every day.

The Role

Your tasks include mapping assessments according to the Swedish National Agency for Education and study plans for newly arrived students. You will create and monitor students' individual schedules, which may change throughout the term. Acting as a connecting link between various teachers and students, you will be highly flexible, as the role may adapt to meet students' needs.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in mathematics, Swedish as a second language, and English for grades 7–9.

About Us

The Child and Education Department is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together to create a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and become their best selves. The Department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations, as well as work for coordination between school and working life.

Bjärnum School is a grades F-9 school, which together with Mala School forms a principal's area. Bjärnum School has approximately 360 students in grades F-9. The leadership consists of the Principal and two Deputy Principals.

The school is located about a 15-minute drive north of Hässleholm. There are also good train and bus connections to Bjärnum, where the school is within walking distance from the station.
