You now have the opportunity to become one of our employees working with students at Tyringe School (Grades F-3). We are looking for a study mentor in German for a student in Grade 3 (lower secondary). You will have close cooperation with your colleagues as you together play an important role in the student's development towards the educational goals.

As a study mentor, your assignment is based on the student's previous school background, their prior knowledge of the Swedish language, and the subjects included in the student's curriculum.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is proficient in German and has very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You should have good knowledge of the subjects included in the compulsory school curriculum. Previous experience working as a study mentor or in pedagogical work is advantageous. As a person, we would like you to be engaged in guiding students to good results and helping them train and develop their skills. We see that you are clear and structured in your work with students. You contribute to a positive working environment and are good at collaborating and building good relationships with colleagues and students.

About Us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, compulsory schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and get to be their best. The Administration's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and to work for coordination between school and working life.

The position is located at Tyringe School. We have close collaboration and development work with the principal's area for Grades F-6 in Tyringe, Röke, Finja, and Västra Torup. In the area, we will work with three focus areas during the school year: student participation, students' linguistic ability, and safety and study environment.

Tyringe School has a fantastic location centrally placed in Tyringe with proximity to nature, which is a great asset for the students' development and learning. Close to the school area are also Tyrehallen, Tyrshage, and Tyrs Hov, a sports facility with a sports hall, swimming pool, ice hall, and bowling alley under the same roof. The school is located near the train and bus station. We are a school for Grades F-9 with approximately 600 students, divided into two principal areas.
