About the workplace

The schools of Helsingborg Municipality are a resource-rich and value-driven organization. Here, as an employee, you will become an important part of our shared vision to create the best school for every child and student.

We are an F-9 school with approximately 400 students and 50 employees. At Gantofta School, the staff is organized into different work teams led by team leaders. The school's management group consists of the principal, deputy principal, and administrative manager, together with the team leaders.

We actively work with sustainable development in focus, as well as safety, well-being, and learning as our prioritized goals. Gantofta School offers three optional profiles for grades 6–9: Football, Science, and Floorball.

Responsibilities

You will work as a teacher in work team 7–9, teaching Swedish and French at the secondary level (grades 7–9). Together with your colleagues in a fantastic work team, you will collaborate on planning, teaching, evaluation, and pedagogical documentation. To increase goal fulfillment and social cohesion, we work with cooperative learning, and in this work, you will play an important role. You will share your experience and knowledge within your subject and teaching competence.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with previous experience teaching Swedish and French. Modern technology is a natural choice for you in your role as a pedagogue, and you use digital tools for knowledge seeking, communication, creation, and learning.

You are a positive person who sees the needs of each individual and adapts your teaching accordingly. You find it easy to collaborate with other colleagues and want to be part of the community here at the school.

It is important to us that you can build good relationships and show interest and understanding for differences. You know that the key to success lies in good communication between you, your students, and your colleagues. You are open to new ideas and initiatives for change, and you see solutions instead of problems. We see the ability to collaborate and share your own competence and experience with others as an important part of the assignment.
