Economy Administrator for Culture and Leisure Administration

The Culture and Leisure Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations. Approximately 240 employees create opportunities for visitors and residents to experience and participate in a diverse leisure and cultural life. We operate our own activities and provide support to cultural and leisure activities run by non-profit associations, study associations, organizations, and other actors. The administration covers libraries, swimming facilities, a culture school, youth clubs, and other cultural and leisure activities.

Responsibilities

As an Economy Administrator at the Culture and Leisure Administration, you have a holistic perspective. You are responsible for issues and coordination related to purchasing and procurement, internal control, as well as invoicing and economic systems. You support and collaborate with the administration's managers, provide support, and assist with administrative economic-related questions.

The role involves working closely with central support functions to optimize management towards the municipality's goals and vision. You are a management support for the administration and play a key role in the administrative development work, with great opportunities for development through learning and varied tasks.

The assignment mainly includes administrative and operational work performed based on established action alternatives as well as guidelines and routines from the responsible manager, the economics department, and the HR and payroll department. The work consists of several recurring and similar tasks performed with some regularity. The role requires you to independently plan, prioritize, and distribute your tasks, where the work may also include elements of your own assessments and actions. As an Economy Administrator, you have clear decision-making authority within the economic and personnel areas and are responsible for quality assurance of your tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing economic work such as customer and supplier accounts, reconciliations, handling simpler system tasks in the economic system. Case handling and reporting of various types in data systems.
  • Preparing data, reviewing, and compiling materials.
  • Making orders, bookings, and purchases, as well as mail handling.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position are:

  • A 3-year upper secondary education in economics or other that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Previous experience with economic administrative tasks.
  • Good computer and system proficiency.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Post-secondary education in economics or other that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Previous experience in other administrative work, such as personnel administration.
