Are you interested in the digitalization, development, and implementation of digital systems that facilitate contact with Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Neuropsychiatry (BUP NP) for our patients? BUP Neuropsychiatry is now looking for two medical secretaries for the unit at Hesselmans Torg 6, Sickla in Stockholm. The work takes place during daytime hours.
BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of 'En väg in' (One Way In), as well as four neuropsychiatric clinics so far: West, South East, North West, and South West. All with the mandate to investigate and treat children and young people with neuropsychiatric difficulties. Here, doctors, psychologists, nurses, deputy unit managers, unit managers, and medical secretaries collaborate to provide our patients with accessible, efficient, and patient-focused care. The work environment at BUP Neuropsychiatry is characterized by high competence, a desire for development, and quality.
The units work with medical treatment, assessments, and investigations where the issue is neuropsychiatric difficulties (autism or ADHD). The goal is to provide our patients with accessible, efficient, and patient-focused care. The mandate also includes medical treatment.
Job Description
The tasks involve developing and working with the unit's administrative flows, primarily linked to our patients but also to staff and economy. Together with colleagues, you will increase the degree of digitalization in our invitation systems via TakeCare and AlltidÖppet. You handle incoming referrals, digital and postal booking/invitations, and rescheduling/cancellations.
The work also includes handling orders and invoices, receiving and processing incoming calls via the telephone system TeleQ, and working in the personnel administration system Heroma. Medical secretaries also write medical records and coordinate investigation times to contribute to investigations being carried out efficiently and smoothly for the patients. You will also answer questions from patients and guardians visiting the clinic. As the administration of the clinics develops, the tasks for medical secretaries will be adapted and renewed to facilitate patients receiving the right care at the right time as much as possible.
Qualifications
A degree from a medical secretary education is a requirement. You are comfortable handling new digital systems and solutions, and see the benefits of digital technology available to patients.
It is an advantage if you have experience working as a medical secretary in psychiatric operations and experience working in Take Care (medical records), Pastill (healthcare administration), TeleQ (telephone system), Heroma (personnel administration), and Raindance (economic administration).
Personal Attributes
As a person, you are efficient while being flexible and process-oriented. To succeed in the role, you need to want to contribute to a good collaborative climate in the work group and a good attitude towards patients and relatives. You enjoy development, improvement of administrative processes, and can handle a build-up phase where routines and tasks change.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment Type
The positions are for a one-year temporary position, full-time, and permanent employment. Start date by agreement.
