Are you interested in working with the Flight Technical Unit/Battalion of the Helicopter Wing? Do you want to be an important part of the Swedish Armed Forces' helicopter capability?

Do you want to work in a technical and dynamic environment where structure, coordination, and service are key parts of the operations? We now have a position for you. We are looking for a responsible and structured administrator for the Flight Technical Unit (FTE) who wants to contribute to supporting and developing the daily administrative work within the unit/battalion.

The Flight Technical Unit belongs to the Helicopter Wing in Linköping but has operations in three locations. As an administrator, your base will be in Linköping, and you will be part of the FTE staff. In addition to Linköping, you will also provide administrative support to operations in Luleå and Ronneby.

Main Responsibilities

The role of administrator plays a crucial part in the unit. Your main responsibility is to support leadership, staff, and managers with administrative tasks. The unit is newly established, which means that as an administrator, you have the opportunity to influence your role, both based on leadership needs and your own professional expertise.

Below are examples of tasks:

  • Coordination of meetings, training, and travel
  • Support for managers and employees in administrative matters such as work time planning
  • Ordering accommodation, meals, and other supplies for exercises
  • Handling email, phone, and internal communication as well as document registration

Qualifications

  • Upper secondary education or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Valid driver's license (car)
  • At least 3 years of experience in administrative work
  • Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and service-oriented. You have good collaboration skills while being able to work independently and take initiative. The role requires you to be structured, flexible, and able to prioritize tasks even during periods of high tempo.

Merits

The Swedish Armed Forces Helicopter Wing is a unit with both land and sea operational focus that can operate in missions in Sweden and internationally. Helicopter support is in high demand, for example, for personnel, material, or medical transports, command, reconnaissance, or guard duties. Therefore, the Helicopter Wing often participates in missions and exercises with other units but also as support to society in various crisis situations.

Operating throughout Sweden, the breadth of tasks, and the wing's size with over 950 employees provide variety in work and opportunities for personal development. The majority of the Helicopter Wing is located in Linköping (Malmen), where we are also responsible for Malmen Airport and Linköping Garrison, with two large units in Luleå (Kallax) and Ronneby (Kallinge).
