Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and driven teacher who wants to make a real difference! We are seeking a teacher for Grade F (preschool class). You will teach exclusively in Grade F, and mentoring duties are included in the position. You will be part of both a grade-level team and our broader Grades F-3 team. In addition to class teachers, special education teachers, lead teachers, resource teachers, and the after-school center staff are part of the team supporting our students.
You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching together with the goal that all students achieve the curriculum goals in all subjects during their compulsory school years. You will also play a key role in our development work focused on reading and language-enhancing initiatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified compulsory school teacher for Grades F-3 in all subjects. Previous experience as a teacher and/or eligibility for additional grade levels are meritorious. You are well-organized, self-directed, and have an investigative approach to evaluating the effects of your teaching together with colleagues and students. As a person, you are positive, curious, and collaborative.
In the classroom, you demonstrate clear leadership and are skilled at building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have a good understanding of and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work and create a positive learning environment. Prior experience with reading and writing instruction is meritorious.

About the Workplace
Since the summer of 2023, Värner Rydénskolan F-6 and Värner Rydénskolan 7-9 have been divided into two school units that share facilities, administration, and school leadership. Both units are two-stream. In total, we have approximately 400 wonderful children and students who do their best every day to develop and learn together with us adults! The after-school center has two departments with a total of approximately 100 enrolled children. We are two resource-rich schools with our own special education groups, several lead teachers, El Sistema programs, driven and engaged staff, and a competent and strong student health service. We also have a School IF sports association and established collaborations with local sports clubs.
