Description of duties

As a teacher in this position, you teach mathematics. You will have the opportunity to make a difference for our students by contributing your competence, knowledge, and engagement to work with the student at the center to help the school achieve its goals. You plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical work according to the curriculum and other regulatory documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Swedish teaching license with eligibility to teach mathematics in grades 6-9. To succeed in the work, you need to have good knowledge of the school's regulatory documents as well as the compulsory school curriculum. The work requires that you have good oral and written skills in Swedish.

We would appreciate it if you have experience working with language-developing approaches. If you have IT skills directed towards pedagogical work, this is seen as an advantage.

You take the initiative in your teaching, plan, and conduct lessons that drive students' learning forward. You are flexible and adapt both the structure and methods based on the students' needs, prior knowledge, and changed conditions in the classroom. With your pedagogical insight, you have a good understanding of how students absorb knowledge, and you vary your way of explaining and concretizing the content so that all students are given the opportunity to understand and develop.
