Description

As a special needs teacher (specialpedagog) within the Student Health Service, you will be part of the Central Student Health Service, which consists of approximately 15 employees, including the operations manager. The Student Health Service's main task is to work health-promoting and preventive. In your role as a special needs teacher, you will contribute both within the Central Student Health Service and at the schools with your competence in the systematic work regarding the development of the Student Health Service from these perspectives.

We are looking for you who want to develop both from a professional perspective and from the perspective of the school as a whole.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, among other things, special needs assessments, handovers, contacts and collaboration with actors within the school but also outside, support, supervision, and training for school staff, as well as mapping and developing learning environments.

The work involves close contact and collaboration with colleagues within the Central Student Health Service, as well as with the principal and staff at the schools. You will work with experienced colleagues in an open work climate where we develop both the operations and ourselves together.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a special needs teacher. You have good ability to cooperate and communicate, are engaged, and skilled at creating good relationships with students, guardians, and school staff. Previous work experience as a special needs teacher is meritorious. Experience working with children with special needs is also considered meritorious. Valid ID and right to work in Sweden

To work in Älvkarleby Municipality, you must be able to present a valid ID showing your citizenship. In some cases, you may also need to show a document proving your right to work in Sweden. If offered employment, you must be able to show one of the following:
