C Företaget Barnomsorg/C Resurs AB is now looking for an assistant/resource worker for Äventyrets förskola in Uppsala. The preschool is located in Valsätra and has places for 43 children in age-grouped classes. We offer playful learning where all children get to feel successful. Our operations are based on the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschools (Lpfö), and we plan activities based on the children's interests, needs, and experiences.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a competent and engaged assistant with experience working with children with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders). The child's functional variations require an adult's attention, support, and guidance throughout the day at the preschool. You will be responsible for the child's participation in the activities under the direction of the preschool teacher on the department, with continuous contact with the habilitation center. As a resource worker, your task is to be close by and help and support in situations that may be challenging for the child.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is responsible, flexible, has a positive attitude towards people, and is cheerful and positive. We are looking for someone who can contribute to a secure environment and who wants to challenge children in their development and learning. We value that you meet the children with respect, engage with them, and show curiosity about their interests. You reflect, collaborate, and discuss together with the children.

Previous experience with children in need of support is an advantage, and knowledge of visual supports (picture supports) is meritorious.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and consider a preschool teacher/childcare worker education to be a merit.

About the position:
The position is 50% and is a resource appointment, meaning you support a child in need of special support or help strengthen the children's group.

There is also an opportunity to work extra when needed, for example, in case of sick leave or other absence in the operations. For those who wish for more working hours, the percentage of the position may increase periodically.

Other:
According to the Swedish Education Act, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) must be presented before employment in preschool operations.
