Two dedicated primary school teachers for intermediate grades – Join the Gransäterskolan team

We are now looking for two dedicated class teachers who want to become part of our team at Gransäterskolan – one position in year 4 and one position in year 6.

About Gransäterskolan

Gransäterskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F–9) with approximately 500 students and two parallel classes in each grade. Here, we work to create a safe learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

At the intermediate level, we work in a smaller team where we value collaboration, openness, and a good climate. We help each other, share experiences, and believe that we become better together. At the same time, there are great opportunities to influence the development of teaching and contribute your own ideas.

Your assignment

As a class teacher at the intermediate level, you are responsible for teaching and mentoring a class. You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in all subjects for the grade based on the goals of the curriculum.

Together with the class teacher in the parallel class, you collaborate on student development and the quality of teaching. In dialogue with your colleague, there is an opportunity to agree on a possible distribution of subjects between the classes, based on qualifications, competencies, and interests.

For the position in year 4, we would prefer that you have the qualification to teach English. For the position in year 6, we particularly prefer that you have qualifications in Natural Science subjects.

• are a licensed teacher with qualification to teach in years 4–6
• have good subject knowledge and the ability to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum's goals
• create good relationships with students and build safety in the classroom
• have clear and secure leadership that creates a good study environment
• meet students with different needs and create inclusive teaching
• collaborate well and actively contribute to the team's development
• take initiative, see opportunities, and want to be involved in developing the operations
