Our Operations

Region Uppsala's public art is located in the midst of people's daily lives – in healthcare environments but also within administration, education, and conference activities. Art contributes to welcoming and inclusive environments and provides new perspectives on ourselves and our surroundings. The Art Unit is responsible for purchasing, commissioning, and managing public art. Approximately one percent of Region Uppsala's investments in new buildings and renovations is allocated to artistic design.

Meeting and discussing art is central to Region Uppsala's work with public art. We are now looking for an acting art educator due to parental leave.
