About the role
Academic Work is now recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist for a leading international industrial company.
You will have a central role within the finance department, responsible for ensuring efficient processes in Accounts Payable. The role involves close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and an outsourced AP function, offering great opportunities to contribute to the development and improvement of working methods and processes.

Key Responsibilities
The role involves coordinating responsibility for Accounts Payable, ensuring that processes are followed and optimized in close collaboration with international colleagues.
- Ensure that supplier invoices are processed and approved in a timely manner.
- Follow up on and coordinate work with the outsourced AP function.
- Prepare payment files and ensure efficient payment flows.
- Act as the contact person for AP-related questions within the organization.
- Participate in testing and development work related to SAP and process changes.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives that streamline work.
- Monitor key performance indicators and contribute to increased quality and control in processes.
Who we are looking for
- Have a few years of experience working in Accounts Payable.
- Have experience working in SAP.
- Have a good understanding of financial processes and flows.
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience collaborating with outsourced finance functions.
- Experience from an international organization.
- Participated in process development or change management projects.
