As a Sustainability Strategist, you will have overall responsibility for structuring, developing, and managing Parking Malmö's sustainability work. The role requires you to have a holistic perspective and to understand how regulations, sustainability requirements, and business decisions are interconnected and affect both investments and long-term planning. As Sustainability Strategist, you will continue and develop the sustainability work together with strong collaboration partners, societal actors, engaged colleagues, and the management team.

First interviews with Randstad are scheduled for week 35. Interviews together with Parking Malmö will take place during week 36.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop goals, key performance indicators, and structures for long-term follow-up.
• Establish and quality-assure sustainability reporting according to CSRD and the EU Taxonomy.
• Manage and develop the company's environmental management system based on the ISO 14001 standard.
• Drive the development, implementation, and follow-up of new and existing mobility services in close collaboration with business development.
• Participate in new construction and existing properties from a material selection and sustainability perspective.
• Produce analyses of climate impact and utilization rates as strategic decision support.
• Participate in the work with the City of Malmö's green and social bonds in close collaboration with the Property Controller.
• Develop and drive work within social sustainability in collaboration with, among others, HR.
• Provide advice and support to the management team and operations.
• Participate in various forums such as internal and external projects, as well as the City of Malmö's network and other external networks that benefit the company.
• Environmental scanning.

Qualifications

• An academic degree in a relevant field or other equivalent education assessed by the employer as equivalent.
• A few years of professional experience in strategic sustainability work.
• Experience in steering, goals, and follow-up within sustainability.

Merits:

• Experience with sustainability reporting according to CSRD or similar frameworks.
• Experience in analysis work and data-driven decision support.
• Experience with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) as well as innovation or development projects.
• Experience in preparing, structuring, and packaging strategic decision materials.

Malmö Kommuns Parkerings AB

Parking Malmö is an expanding municipal company with approximately 70 employees. Our mission is to build and manage parking facilities on vacant land in Malmö and to offer holistic solutions for parking and future mobility. We own 12 parking and mobility houses and manage a total of over 35,000 parking spaces. In new construction, we are at the forefront regarding sustainability.
