Qualified Teacher for Cross-Municipal Development in Digitalization

We are now looking for a qualified teacher who wants to work with cross-municipal operational development within digitalization and has the drive to continue developing our educational activities with digital tools and methods. In the child and education sector, you will have a varied and developmental role where you have the opportunity to combine concrete initiatives with strategic thinking. If you have a strong interest in the development of children and students from a 1–16 year perspective and enjoy digitalization and its possibilities within education, you might be the person we are looking for.

We are facing an exciting development journey where digitalization and AI play an increasingly larger role in strengthening equality and quality within the education area. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to continue driving development work as a way to contribute to students' knowledge development and digital competence. The role includes, among other things, system responsibility and being a competence support for educators and managers, as well as keeping the sector informed based on environmental scanning. You collaborate, for example, with school leadership, teachers, development leaders, IT administrators, and external actors to translate various strategies into practice.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you drive development initiatives that strengthen the digital capabilities of operations and contribute to increased quality and efficiency. You work closely with both the operations and the child and education sector, as well as the municipality's digitalization unit, to drive development that makes a difference.

Some of the responsibilities in the role include:

  • Coordinate our systems based on operational needs and an overarching sector perspective with the aim of achieving coordination benefits.
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate training to raise digital competence within the organization, for both students and staff.
  • Evaluate the results and effects of implemented development initiatives.
  • Responsible for developing support to ensure the scientific basis of digital learning materials.
  • Develop and update the employer's governing documents within the department's area of responsibility regarding digital development.
  • Handle GDPR and data protection related to the sector's digital systems, including register lists, PUB agreements, data protection networks, annual audits, as well as risk and impact analyses.
  • Manage digital tools.
  • Monitor technology, research, and current regulations, especially regarding AI and data protection.

Qualifications and Merits

Requirements:

We are looking for you who have a pedagogical education with a teaching license along with relevant work experience in the field. You have several years of experience working in education, for example, in preschool or primary school. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you have good structure in your work and are goal- and result-oriented, with an analytical and strategic perspective. You are sensitive to the needs of operations and see it as a given that you can contribute to different solutions. Furthermore, you enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues. You have a knack for seeing connections, solving problems, and driving development forward, and you set and keep timeframes.

Merits:

It is an advantage if you have experience in public procurement and purchasing, as well as training and supervising colleagues. It is also an advantage if you have previously conducted security assessments and data protection analyses of digital services.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for the position.

Employment Terms

  • Salary: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent position.
  • Duration: Permanent, start: As soon as possible or as agreed.
  • Working hours: Daytime.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and provided it does not need to be taken for internal use.
