We are currently seeking an AML Investigator for a consulting assignment with our client in Malmö, starting in autumn 2026. In this role, you will work operationally with anti-money laundering issues in a regulated business environment with clear demands for quality and precision in your investigations. This position is ideal for you who wish to develop specialist competence in AML and thrive in a structured work environment.

About the role

As an AML Investigator, you will work on a consulting basis with operational tasks within anti-money laundering and customer due diligence (CDD). You will manage CDD processes, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with current regulations. The position is full-time and involves close collaboration with other specialists in regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC analyses for corporate customers
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations in cases of elevated risk
• Handle transaction monitoring alerts
• Identify and analyze discrepancies
• Obtain and verify information from external sources such as the Swedish Companies Registration Office, the Swedish Tax Agency, and sanctions lists
• Document and report investigation results according to internal guidelines and regulations

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of practical experience in operational AML work for corporate clients
• Experience with KYC and EDD
• Good knowledge of the Money Laundering Act (2017:630) and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's regulations (FFFS 2017:11)
• Understanding of concepts such as Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP)
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish (both written and spoken)
• Good IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new digital tools

You are curious, questioning, and have the ability to dig deeper when something does not feel right, while maintaining a steady pace over time.
