About the role

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible, together with the team, for accurate and efficient delivery. You will combine operational payroll work with the development of processes, systems, and working methods to create a modern and future-proof payroll function.

You will act as an expert resource for managers and HR regarding payroll, collective agreements, and compensations. By analyzing payroll data and the company's needs, you will contribute to improvements that strengthen quality, efficiency, and business value.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire payroll process and ensuring accurate payroll disbursements
• Interpret and apply collective agreements together with HR, ensuring compliance with laws
• Drive the development, standardization, and digitalization of payroll processes
• Conduct analyses of payroll and personnel data as a basis for decision-making for management and HR
• Participate in payroll audits and the development of payroll structures and incentive models
• Ensure high quality in reporting to authorities and internal stakeholders
• Act as a senior specialist and team lead in the group regarding daily work

You thrive in collaborations and in a role with many contact points, while being flexible and positive towards changes in a constantly developing business.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Relevant education in payroll, economics, or equivalent
• Several years of experience as a payroll specialist
• Documented experience in handling various collective agreements and agreement areas
• Very good knowledge of labor law, tax, pensions, and payroll processes
• Strong system proficiency and experience working in modern payroll systems
• Good skills in Excel and experience in analysis and reporting
• Experience in improvement and development work within payroll
• Experience with AGDA is highly meritorious but not a requirement
