The Department

You will become part of the Urban Planning Department, a unit that works with urban planning issues from a broad perspective, from details to the whole. We work, among other things, with issues within urban planning, construction, and housing supply. The tasks within this position involve processing energy and housing support for businesses and private individuals.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new colleague to process the County Administrative Board's energy and housing support. The focus of the position will be on processing support related to energy-saving measures in single-family homes. The assessments in the cases involve, among other things, ensuring that the measures carried out are reasonable and lead to energy efficiency in the building. Depending on your background and interest in specific issues, additional tasks for the county administrative boards, consisting of shelter control, may become relevant for the position.

The work is independent but is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues. You are responsible for driving your cases and tasks forward, but also collaborate with others both internally and externally. Based on your previous experience and knowledge, other tasks within the department's areas of operation may also become relevant.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have previously worked with processing support, grants, or supervision within public operations. We would like you to have previous experience from working within public operations and experience of exercising official authority. Experience of processing within construction, technology, energy, or urban planning is particularly meritorious.

As a person, you are self-reliant and structured, as the processing is largely an independent task that requires the ability to plan and carry out work efficiently. The tasks require good judgment, good structure, as well as problem-solving and analytical skills. You are team-oriented and contribute to a positive work climate in the department.

An important part of the role as a support processor is to have contact with applicants for the support. Therefore, it is important that you are communicative, service-oriented, and able to establish and maintain good contacts. You are flexible and can adapt to changed conditions and circumstances.

The position requires good knowledge of the Swedish language.

Conditions

The position is full-time and permanent. We apply a 6-month probation period as a rule for our permanent positions. Start date as soon as possible after agreement.
