The Department of Work and Education is part of the Municipal Executive Office Administration. Its mission is to enhance the competencies of our residents and enable self-sufficiency. Within the department, we run our Campus (adult education) and the unit for financial assistance. We also work with labor market measures, where labor market coaches have specific responsibilities.

The assignment for this position is a funded role via FINSAM (Finnveden Coordination Consortium) as a labor market coach in a collaboration team. The position is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension if funding continues.

Responsibilities

As part of the collaboration team, you work with individuals in need of coordinated and parallel work rehabilitation measures. You will become part of an interdisciplinary team where competencies from various authorities converge around the individual to create an efficient, cohesive, and individualized path towards work or studies. Through close support, effective collaboration, and an individualized approach, you work to help your participants move closer to work or studies, enter activity and rehabilitation measures more quickly, while minimizing the need for public support.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree for the profession. You view collaboration and co-creation as prerequisites for supporting participants, and you take responsibility for contributing your knowledge and competence. You are someone who can work independently and drive your own cases forward by planning measures and following up with various actors. As part of the team, you are unpretentious and have the ability to see the entire team as part of the participant's path forward, while adhering to current working methods, approaches, and structures. Meritorious for the assignment is if you have a general understanding of collaboration with other external parties and have knowledge of working in collaboration with authorities, regions, and municipalities. It is also meritorious if you have previously worked with the SE method.

Your teamwork is deeply linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in the development of yourself and the operations.
