Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand operation. Together, we share a common vision: a changed world where children's dreams come to life.
We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries.
In Sweden, children's rights work is primarily carried out through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen.

Do you want to contribute to realizing children's rights by working with sustainability in a non-profit organization? Then this is the role for you. Erikshjälpen Second Hand is now looking for a Sustainability Coordinator with a focus on the environment.
Description
As a Sustainability Coordinator with a focus on the environment, you will be part of our sustainability department, where we work with environmental and social sustainability based on our goals as a second-hand actor. Through clear communication of our mission, you will contribute to environmentally sustainable consumption in an increasingly attractive and competitive market.
Responsibilities
Examples of responsibilities include:
- You are responsible for goals, results, and follow-up of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's environmental work.
- You project manage the annual sustainability reporting and support management in driving the organization's work on environmental issues.
- You monitor the external environment regarding sustainability work and ensure that the organization is up to date with legal requirements in environmental and sustainability matters, collaborating with other organizations.
- You lead, together with Erikshjälpen, the work with environmental certification.
- You train different parts of the organization on environmental issues based on needs and serve as a support function to your colleagues.
- The role also includes some administrative tasks within the social mission.
- You are part of Erikshjälpen's advocacy work in consultation with Second Hand management.
- You report to the Sustainability Manager.
Qualifications
You have:
- Higher education in the environmental field or experience that can be assessed as equivalent.
- Experience working as a project manager.
- An interest in sustainability work, both social and ecological sustainability.
Meritorious if you have:
- Experience working in climate and environment.
- Experience keeping up to date with legal requirements, especially within textiles.
- Previous experience from retail.
You are:
- Goal-oriented and engaged.
- Receptive and service-oriented.
- Good at seeing the big picture.
- Good at creating and maintaining good contacts through effective communication.
- Solution-oriented.
