Göteborgs Tekniska College and Göteborgsregionens Tekniska Gymnasium is a competence-driven education company dedicated to strengthening technical and industrial skills for both young people and adults. The company is owned by Volvo Group and Volvo Cars together with the City of Gothenburg, a unique collaboration between the municipality and business life where any potential profit is reinvested into the operations. Our mission is to develop and create educational programs in close cooperation with the industry.

The company has four areas of operation: upper secondary school (GTG), vocational college (YH), national vocational education (NY), as well as industry-developing projects and corporate training. We are a strategic competence center for Teknikcollege.

About the role

For the upcoming academic year, Göteborgs Tekniska College is looking for a person who wants to support students on the technology and industrial technology programs in their technical subjects.

We are looking for a "joker" (support staff) with a focus on technical subjects such as electrical engineering, programming, and automation.

We would particularly like to see someone taking a gap year from their technical university studies to support other young people who are not as far along in their studies.

This could involve creating a positive study environment at our study hub, providing support to students and teachers during technical lessons, participating in youth community days and camps, or acting as a substitute teacher when needed.
