Do you want to work with one of the municipality's most strategic initiatives? Lärcenter is the hub where competence supply, integration, and the labor market meet.

As a study and career counselor with us, you will become part of a team that works strategically and operationally to support young people and adults. We work with several forms of education and with adults in the municipality who need help finding new paths, seeing opportunities, and awakening dreams about future careers and vocational choices.

Your focus will be on adult education. In Hultsfred, all adult education is gathered under one roof. We offer Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), Komvux at basic and upper secondary levels, Vocational Adult Education (Yrkesvux), adapted Komvux education, vocational and university-level education, as well as commissioned training. The courses are available both locally in Hultsfred and remotely in collaboration with other actors.

Hultsfred Lärcenter is part of the new organization "Work and Competence" within the municipal executive board's administration and has the task of contributing to increased competence supply and more municipal residents in work and studies.

As a study and career counselor with us, you will meet, among others, newly arrived adults who have just started their education in SFI, students who want to complete their compulsory and upper secondary education, and people who wish to study further at the university level. You will:

• Work with counseling individually and in groups
• Contribute to developing counseling efforts throughout the municipality
• Collaborate with schools, the labor market, adult education, and other actors

Qualifications

Here we are looking for you who are trained as a study and career counselor and want to help strengthen the future choices of young people and adults in the municipality. You thrive in collaborations and in teams where we help each other, take initiative when needed, and work flexibly and solution-focused. We would appreciate that you have experience in counseling within different educational forms and are confident in adapting your support to individual needs.

For the position, it is required that you can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English; additional languages are an advantage. A B-driver's license is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
