Welcome to the Social Services Administration in Järfälla Municipality, where we make a difference for our residents! We are now looking for a Controller who wants to join us in continuing to develop Järfälla into a place for everyone.

In this role, you will work in the support staff of the Social Services Administration. The support staff covers the areas of Economy and Premises, HR, Development and Quality, and the Staffing Unit. RESPONSIBILITIES

So, what does a Controller do for us? The assignment as a Controller is a lovely mix of strategic and operational work. One moment you dive into the details, the next you lift your gaze and see the entire operation. In the assignment, you work with budgeting and continuous follow-up, forecasting and analysis, as well as interim reports/annual accounts and activity reports. You also have a coordinating responsibility for specific cross-administrative issues. Your work is proactive, where you contribute to the efficiency of various processes and increase forecast security.

As a Controller, you need to bring out the detective within you. You quality-assure the economic basis, catch deviations, and come up with smart suggestions on how we should handle them. You drive the analysis work forward and are an important voice in our continuous improvement work. Sometimes you work independently with great personal responsibility, sometimes together with others, and both parts are equally important.

Here, you work closely with other Controllers, our accounting economist, and accounting assistant. We are people who like to bounce ideas off each other, share experiences, and laugh together between tasks. Together, you work for structured and correct economic processes and are representatives in economic management. You are also the reporting person in the management group and the board.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a completed university or college education in economics. You have documented experience of working as a Controller. You are welcome to have experience of working in a politically governed operation and preferably municipal experience. If you have experience from a social services administration's work/operational areas, it is meritorious but not a requirement.

You have good computer skills and are accustomed to working in economic systems. You have good knowledge of the Office package with a focus on Excel. If you have worked with the economic system Raindance and/or the decision support system Hypergene, it is a merit. You have very good ability in speech and writing in Swedish.

The role of Controller presupposes an independent and structured way of working where you have the ability to drive several processes simultaneously. You have an analytical and solution-oriented ability. You enjoy delving into tasks but at the same time being able to see the big picture. As a person, you are communicative and pedagogical as you need to be able to convey and explain economic reports to both managers and elected officials. You have good cooperation skills and like to talk to different people. You need to be interested in the connection between operations and economics.
