The Internal Audit of the Government Offices (Regeringskansliet) is responsible for conducting internal audits of all activities within the Government Offices, the committee system, and the diplomatic representation. The Internal Audit must independently examine the authority's internal governance and control in accordance with good practice.
As an Internal Auditor, you will participate in the entire audit process; risk analysis, planning, examination, reporting, and follow-up.
The Internal Audit has close cooperation and frequent knowledge exchange within the group. The work is varied and provides a broad network and an overview of the Government Offices' organization and operations.

Your background
The position requires an academic degree or other education that the employer deems equivalent. In addition, several years of experience in internal audit or other qualified examination or investigative work are required, as well as good knowledge of internal governance and control.
It is meritorious to have several years of experience in internal audit within a government agency, experience in accounting or financial auditing, and experience from public sector operations. Knowledge of government accounting is also considered meritorious.

This position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. The position is classified for security reasons, and a security investigation with register check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
