Do you want to make a difference in students' learning and development?

We are now looking for an engaged and competent special needs teacher who wants to become part of our team at Stadsparksskolan.

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for a smaller group setting and the student's learning and development. This involves mentorship, as well as organizing the learning process including planning, implementation, and systematic follow-up. You believe in collegial learning and collaborative work, where experiences are shared, daily classroom events are reflected upon, and there is an open attitude towards others' thoughts and opinions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and teaching students in need of support in smaller groups.
• Contact with subject teachers.
• Mentorship.
• Contact with guardians/parents.
• Participate in the school's support team together with special educators and special needs teachers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained teacher with special pedagogical competence. You have experience working with students with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), weak theoretical aptitude, and linguistic vulnerability. It is meritorious if you have qualifications in core subjects and Social Studies (SO), as well as experience in teaching in smaller groups.

We believe that you, as an applicant, have good pedagogical skills, are flexible, and have the ability to quickly adapt to changed circumstances and situations. You maintain a professional attitude even in pressured situations. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and actively work to find solutions when challenges arise. You contribute to a positive work climate and collaborate with all students, guardians, teachers, and staff you meet. Change is a natural part of your way of thinking, and you are eager to contribute to the school's development.

Your new workplace

We are a school in central Partille – close to the Culture House (Kulturum), green areas, and pleasant environments. Around 300 students in grades 7 to 9 attend our school.
