We are now looking for a Research Assistant whose main task is to assist in the testing operations related to the elite sports support at the Swedish National Academy of Sport and Health Sciences (RIU). Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility is to assist the project management in strengthening the elite sports support at the Swedish National Academy of Sport and Health Sciences by participating in testing operations. This includes, among other things:

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have at least a bachelor's degree in medicine, health sciences, sports science, physiology, or a related field. You should have documented experience with measurement methods within physical capacity and body composition. Experience with Cosmed Quark CPET and Lunar iDXA is particularly meritorious. Practical experience and familiarity with working in a test lab for physical performance, as well as good skills in Excel, are meritorious.
A completed CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) course within the last two years is a requirement. Good knowledge of Swedish and English (both spoken and written) is a requirement.
The work requires you to be meticulous, responsible, and confident in practical testing situations. You must have the ability to plan, carry out, and document tasks independently according to given protocols. Since the work involves contact with participants, project managers, and other employees, you need to be communicative, team-oriented, and receptive. Personal suitability is highly valued.
Employment
The position is a fixed-term appointment (temporary substitute) with a scope of 25% of full-time, placed permanently at the Department of Food and Nutrition, and Exercise Science. The start date is 2026-09-01 or as agreed.
The employment is fixed-term, at the latest until 2027-02-28, or until the permanent employee returns to work. Extension may be considered.
