Mittuniversitetet is a global university with strong regional engagement, where close relationships with the outside world play a crucial role in our development. We now offer you the opportunity to strengthen the university's research and long-term development by contributing to the establishment of our fundraising operations.
As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will become an important part of establishing and developing a new function where research, relationships, and development meet.
Responsibilities
As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will have a central role in developing long-term collaborations and external funding for Mittuniversitetet. You will work closely with the Fundraising Director, university leadership, researchers, and external partners in an environment where ideas can be put into practice.
The role is varied and combines coordination, research, communication, and relationship building. You will work on identifying and developing relationships with potential and existing donors and partners, planning and following up on activities, and producing materials and communication content that supports fundraising efforts.
Since the fundraising function is currently being established, you will also have the opportunity to influence working methods and develop the operations forward. Here, you will become part of a dynamic environment where collaboration, structure, and flexibility are important parts of the work.
The position involves travel between the university's campus locations as well as to external meetings and activities.
Your Background
We are looking for you with an academic degree in fields such as communication, social sciences, marketing, economics, or another area or education that we consider relevant. You have experience driving projects, working in larger projects or operations, and are accustomed to working in environments with external contacts and collaborations.
You have worked with communication and have a basic understanding of economics as well as the ability to perform simpler analyses. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and are accustomed to working in digital tools and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Teams.
It is meritorious if you have experience with relationship-based sales, CRM systems, and simpler design tools such as Canva.
Your Qualities
To thrive and function in the role, you are self-reliant, unpretentious, proactive, and enjoy driving work forward. You work in a structured manner, prioritize effectively, and find it easy to keep track of several activities simultaneously. You thrive in an environment where working methods and priorities develop over time and feel comfortable switching between strategic and operational tasks.
As a person, you are relationship-building and service-oriented. You build trust through professional and attentive treatment and find it easy to create good collaborations with different target groups.
Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.
What We Offer
Do you want to help position Mittuniversitetet as the obvious collaborative and leading research actor we are? We offer a role where you can influence, develop, and contribute to research and development that matters for the region and Sweden's development. We look forward to receiving your application!
