As a Project Manager at our company, you will work broadly and cohesively with larger and more complex projects within the organization. You will be the one holding the overall picture together, creating structure in complex issues, and driving the work forward from direction to handover. Your responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for projects and sub-projects, working closely with relevant parties to develop project directives with purpose, effect goals, budget, and schedule. You keep the project together throughout the entire process, approve scope, content, and delivery, and monitor economy, schedule, and effects at a high level. The role also involves handling and reporting deviations, as well as ensuring that projects are concluded in a structured manner and handed over to the correct operations. You represent the client side together with project owners, project managers, and operational managers, among others in steering groups and internal improvement forums. The role requires you to move between different perspectives, create consensus, and contribute a clear project perspective to issues concerning the development of operations. You also participate in the management group when project-related issues are discussed.

In this assignment, you are expected to contribute to clear and well-anchored projects, good economic control, and a way of working that strengthens the organization's ability to execute complex projects in a sustainable and appropriate manner. The goal is to create results that stand the test of time and contribute to attractive environments for the municipality's residents.

Your qualifications

Requirements

• Relevant post-secondary education in areas such as urban planning, engineering, or economics.
• At least two years of experience in project management or project control, where you have been responsible for larger building or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in procurement and management of consulting and contracting services.
• Understanding of the urban planning process.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits

• Experience from the municipal sector.
• Experience as a consultant or contractor within the infrastructure field.
• Experience in financial accounting and project follow-up, preferably with project management tools.
• Experience in conducting own investigations.
• Project management training, client training, or leadership training.

During the vacation period, we will respond with lower frequency, which may mean slightly longer response times to any questions during the summer.
