Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and follow up – you review resource usage, identify deviations, and propose concrete actions
• Support managers – you present financial data in a pedagogical and accessible manner
• Contribute to control and planning – you prepare decision support materials and participate in long-term financial planning
• Develop the operations – you participate in development projects and improve internal processes, including the coordination of state grants
• Contribute to the purchasing process – you are part of a team that coordinates tenders but also conducts direct procurements

Your Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

• University education in economics or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in qualified financial work in a large organization
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, follow-up, annual accounts, and reporting
• Good knowledge of Excel and the Office suite
• Very good Swedish skills in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience from direct procurements
• Experience from working within municipal or other public administration

You are proactive and dare to raise questions and challenge in a constructive way. You thrive in an advisory role and communicate finance in a clear and pedagogical manner. As an economist with us, you work close to the operations and provide support regarding budget, forecasts, follow-up, annual accounts, and reporting within one of our operational areas. You function as an important support to the operations' managers, where you contribute to well-founded decisions and enable financial responsibility. You become part of an engaged finance unit with seven economists, along with additional colleagues within the finance department. We work closely together, share knowledge, and are proud of what we do – we enjoy working together!
