The position is located at the Municipal Executive Board Administration. Here we work close to political decisions and have an important role in leading, coordinating, following up, and developing the municipality's operations. The Municipal Executive Board Administration is tasked with leading, coordinating, and developing the entire municipality. Digitalization is one of our most important tools for developing operations in practice and creating real value for residents and employees. We are now strengthening our ability to contribute to creating direction, enabling change, and strengthening the municipality's collective capacity for transformation. We are looking for a development strategist who, together with colleagues in the digitalization unit, wants to drive this shift for real.

Responsibilities

You drive development in prioritized areas and handle and coordinate incoming questions and assignments from administrations, management, and politics.

The role includes among other things:

• Lead and develop the municipality's AI work in a goal-oriented manner, based on the needs of operations to create real value.
• Create context and direction by coordinating digitalization initiatives across administrative boundaries and building common working methods and structures where needed.
• Contribute to developing a structure, governance, and leadership for digitalization that enables transformation and strengthens the operations' own capacity.
• Receive and prepare incoming cases such as consultations and assignments from management and political levels. Contribute a strategic perspective on digitalization within the organization.
• Take responsibility for driving issues from idea or assignment to actual change. We are looking for strategic ability that also gets things done in complex contexts.

Qualifications

• Documented experience in driving development or change work.
• Experience in strategically leading AI work.
• Experience working closely with management and supporting prioritization and decision-making.
• Ability to translate analysis and insights into concrete change.
• Understands and can evaluate how data/information, analysis, AI, and other digitalization can be used and translated into operational development.
• Express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have experience of assimilating and applying relevant legislation in your work.
• We believe you have an academic degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience in establishing information-driven organizations.
• Experience in strategic work with portfolio management.
• Worked with governance and leadership of digitalization.
• Good understanding of operations and governance within municipalities or other politically driven organizations.
