Are you ready to take the next step in your career and work in a business-close role where you can combine accounting, analysis, and development? We are looking for a driven Economist who wants to contribute to developing our finance function in a more digital and data-driven direction.
About the role
As an Economist at Nilson Group, you will have a central and broad role with significant personal responsibility. You will work both operationally and analytically, helping to develop modern, efficient ways of working within finance.
You will actively contribute to digitalization, automation, and improved decision-making support, becoming a key partner in the business. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and work closely with the business in a company that values engagement, simplicity, and innovation. You will be part of a team of nine people based at our headquarters in Varberg, reporting to the Finance Manager.
Your responsibilities
- Continuous accounting and reconciliations
- Financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Regulatory reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up
- Analysis of results and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive efficiency and process improvements
Your profile
- University degree in economics or finance
- At least 3 years of experience in qualified accounting
- Strong system proficiency and excellent Excel skills
- Interest in digitalization, automation, and data-driven work
- Excellent proficiency in Swedish and good proficiency in English
- Experience with accounting in Norwegian companies is an asset

Job information
Scope: 40 hours/week. The position is a permanent employment starting with a probationary period.
