Interim HR Specialist at Falkenberg Municipality

The HR department, consisting of approximately 40 employees working with HR, payroll, and staffing issues at both operational and strategic levels, is now looking for an interim HR Specialist. We work together in centrally located offices in Falkenberg.

One of our current HR Specialists is going on parental leave, which is why we are seeking an interim replacement to join our team.

About the Role

As an HR Specialist, you will become part of an ambitious team that works closely together with the customer in focus. Together, we strive for a strong HR function. You will be part of a team of eight other HR Specialists, working closely with HR Developers and the Negotiation Manager, and reporting to the Head of HR.

In your role, you will serve as an HR support to one of our departments, working broadly across the HR field with both strategic and operational issues.

Responsibilities

Your role primarily involves acting as a consultative support to managers regarding all common HR processes and business-related questions. Coaching and challenging managers in the development of their leadership is a key part of the responsibilities.

The work includes providing support and guidance in the areas of:

• Work environment
• Employment law
• Pay formation
• Competence supply

You will work proactively through communication, onboarding, and training initiatives. You will support managers in capturing signals from the business to improve the work climate and drive organizational development.

You will be part of a smaller team working comprehensively with all common HR processes. HR Specialists have specialized areas and process ownership, where you will have the opportunity to shape your work within your areas of expertise with the support of your colleagues. Since we work broadly across the entire HR field, you have the opportunity to influence the direction of your role based on your previous experience and competence.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Bachelor's degree in Personnel Administration (PA) or Work Science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have previous experience from the HR field or another area relevant to the position.

As a person, you have a consultative, professional, and coaching approach. You thrive working in a team where lack of hierarchy, collaboration, and helpfulness are crucial. You make people listen to you and can adapt your communication based on the audience you meet.

The role requires you to have a holistic view and the ability to focus and maintain a realistic perspective in different situations. You take responsibility for tasks, plan, and organize your work effectively.

We also expect you to have good IT skills and be comfortable using digital tools and AI in a conscious, responsible, and secure manner. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Terms

Duration: Fixed-term employment (interim) during the period 2026-10-01 to 2027-09-30 (6 months or longer).
