At HFAB, we work every day to make it easier to be a tenant and to contribute to a safe and attractive Halmstad. We are now looking for a Communicator who wants to help develop our customer communication and support operations through clear, relevant, and accessible communication.

Here, you will work in an organization with a clear social mission and a culture characterized by development.

The Communications Department is responsible for HFAB's internal and external communication, brand, management communication, and press work. We work closely with the operations and serve as a strategic and operational support for managers and employees. Together, we develop communication that creates value for our customers and contributes to HFAB's goals.

About the Role

As a Communicator here, you work closely with the operations and are the Communications Department's main contact for our business areas. By understanding the operations' goals and challenges, you help translate them into communication that creates value for both the operations and our customers.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on communication efforts, ensuring that the communication is clear, relevant, and adapted to the target audience, channel, and situation.

In this role, you will, among other things:

  • produce and publish target-group-specific content for the web, social media, newsletters, intranet, and other channels
  • create graphic material and layouts for various types of communication
  • drive communication work in projects, change initiatives, and operational development
  • develop customer communication based on target audience insights, analysis, and environmental scanning
  • work with press releases, media issues, and, if necessary, crisis communication
  • contribute to the development of our communication channels and content.

About You

We are looking for you who are an initiative-driven and self-reliant communicator with experience in qualified communication work. You are a skilled writer and have an easy time adapting messages to the target audience and channel, working proactively.

To succeed in your role here, it is important that you can structure, plan, and prioritize your tasks. You enjoy building relationships and have the ability to drive work forward even when conditions change, adapting your workday to where the operations' needs dictate.

Qualifications

  • relevant university education in communication, journalism, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
  • at least three years of experience in qualified communication work
  • experience in independently planning, implementing, and following up on communication efforts
  • very good ability to write target-group-specific texts
  • good knowledge of graphic production and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • experience working in CMS, such as Optimizely or Sitevision
  • Class B driver's license
  • very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience in press and media work, channel and content strategy, storytelling, plain language, or working with customer communication throughout the entire customer journey. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Why We Think You Will Thrive Here

At HFAB, you become part of a communications department where we help each other, share knowledge, and develop our work together. We believe in close collaboration with operations and in communication that creates understanding, strengthens relationships, and contributes to achieving our common goals.

Here, you will have a varied assignment with significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence how we develop our communication – both today and in the long term.
