We are looking for you who want to be part of the journey towards tomorrow's welfare. Since one of our communicators will be on study leave, we are seeking a communicator for a fixed-term position at Vård & Omsorg!

The role of communicator with us

You have a communicative focus in operational matters, development projects, and change management, which includes identifying communication needs for different target groups, planning initiatives, and implementing them.

You produce content for various channels, such as the intranet, website, and social media (text, image, video). You also develop support and processes that make it easy for the entire organization to communicate professionally. The assignment is varied and requires you to switch between strategic and operational work. In case of sudden needs, you must be able to reprioritize your day or week. You support and guide other functions centrally in the organization and, if necessary, individual operational and unit managers.

You will belong to the Communication and Competence Supply unit, where you and your colleagues work together on administration-wide communication planning and initiatives to increase knowledge among more people and contribute to a communicative organization.

You will also be surrounded by a large network of communicators from other administrations with whom you often collaborate on communication assignments. You also participate in municipality-wide contexts and projects where we jointly contribute to communicating Kungsbacka Municipality from a holistic perspective.

This role will focus this year on our residents as the target group and on supporting the operations with proactive communication initiatives aimed at health promotion and prevention. The assignment also includes strategic and operational communication in connection with recruitment and other competence supply activities.

Your profile

You are a person who takes great responsibility for your work, is self-reliant and confident in your role, and can independently identify communication needs for both internal and external target groups. When conditions change, you are flexible and can handle rapid initiatives with short deadlines. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are good at building relationships and enjoy collaborating. You have the ability to think strategically, while also feeling comfortable working with operational tasks. You also need to be quick to learn new tools for, for example, web publishing or video editing. Personal suitability will be given great weight.

We are looking for you who have:

• a university degree in media and communication science or knowledge and experience that the employer considers equivalent
• experience of qualified communication work in a larger organization with both operational, tactical, and strategic work
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and the ability to adapt texts to target groups in a polished, simple, and understandable way (plain language)
• experience of various digital tools for production and publishing and familiarity with Adobe software (e.g., InDesign) and the Office package programs.

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience working with communication within public operations
• can produce simple videos for the web and social media
• have experience working with content for social channels.

The role is organized at the administration management office in the Communication and Competence Supply unit. Together we are 15 employees, and your closest colleagues consist of a communication specialist and one additional communicator.

Our offer and other information

We offer a full-time fixed-term position starting as agreed. The employment extends until June 30, 2027.
