The HR department belongs to the Municipal Executive Board Administration and supports all of the municipality's departments. We are nearly 40 employees working with HR, payroll, and staffing issues at both operational and strategic levels. Our job is to ensure that HR processes are purposeful, simple, effective, and value-creating for those we serve. We are now looking for an HR Developer for our HR unit!

About the role and team

You will become part of an engaged team consisting of HR specialists, HR developers, and a negotiation manager, reporting to the Head of HR. You are part of the HR department where we collaborate across the entire division – together, we are HR Falkenberg! Together, we work to develop the HR of the future and create value for managers, employees, and the organization.

Responsibilities

As an HR Developer, you play a central role in developing, improving, and quality-assuring the municipality's HR processes. You work both strategically and operationally, translating business needs into user-friendly and effective HR solutions.

In close collaboration with colleagues within and outside the HR department, you drive development work from idea to implementation, focusing on quality, digitalization, and business benefit.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing municipality-wide HR processes in line with HR Management.
  • Planning, driving, and implementing development initiatives within strategic HR areas.
  • Participating in and leading various development projects, as well as conducting training initiatives.
  • Collaborating in internal and external networks to strengthen quality and common working methods.
  • Coordinating and contributing to the development of manager and leadership development initiatives.
  • Contributing to the implementation of new legal requirements and HR processes.

The role requires a good understanding and ability to combine a strategic perspective with a business-oriented approach. You may also need to support operational HR issues when necessary.

Qualifications and Merits

To succeed in the role of HR Developer, you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in personnel and working life issues, work science, or another education that the employer considers equivalent.
  • Experience with HR systems and digital tools.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We prefer that you have experience in process development and/or project management. It is an advantage if you have understanding and experience of HR work. It is also an advantage if you have education or experience as a supervisor in Developing Leadership (UL) and/or Indirect Leadership (IL).

Recruitment Process

Selection and the first interview round will take place only after the application period has passed. The interview process will take place in two steps: first, a conversation on Teams on the 21st or 24th of August, and in step two, a physical interview, preliminarily on the 2nd of September. The dates may change depending on the process.
