We are now looking for you who want to take the chance to develop your knowledge within the security protection field. The position is a fixed-term contract until January 2028, with a start date as soon as possible. You do not need to have previous experience with security protection issues – instead, we are looking for you who are curious, engaged, and want to develop together with experienced colleagues. The Security Function

The position is located within the Security Function, which is organizationally placed at the Unit for Management and Operational Support. This unit is responsible for the areas of security, personnel, reception, internal service, registry and archives, as well as economy and procurement. The Security Function leads, coordinates, and follows up on security work within the authority, including but not limited to physical security, personnel security, and information security. The tasks of the Security Function are both strategic and operational in nature, involving the development and preparation of policy documents, handling issues related to perimeter protection, and conducting training and exercises in various security areas. The function works systematically and risk-based with the aim of creating a resilient, sustainable, and robust organization as well as a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

You will support the Security Function in the daily work with the authority's overall security work, but primarily regarding security protection work. The tasks will be both operational and strategic. In addition, you will serve as the Data Protection Coordinator and be responsible for supporting and coordinating the organization's work with data protection and information security, including ensuring compliance with GDPR and handling risks related to personal data.

The responsibilities include among other things:

• Supporting the systematic security protection work; for example, with operational administration, planning, analysis, and implementation of security protection measures.
• Supporting and/or providing advice to the operations on issues concerning data protection and information security, as well as identifying risks related to the processing of personal data.
• The tasks may vary and be adapted based on previous competence and experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• For this role, we seek you who have relevant education, such as Security Coordinator or Security Protection Coordinator, or other education and/or professional experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Good communication skills and experience in conducting training.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Understanding of how relevant laws, regulations, and directives should be applied.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Current experience of security and/or security protection work from public or security-sensitive operations.
• Current experience within data protection issues.
• Experience in analysis, planning, and follow-up of security measures.
• Experience in operational administration.
• Experience in process development or project management.
