The mission of the Education and Labour Market Administration is to increase individuals' prospects of finding employment and becoming self-sufficient through education, internships, and work.

Your responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to contribute to creating meaningful and developmental activities for people entitled to day activities. The assignment includes mapping participants' resources, interests, and needs to find the right intervention and activity based on the individual's conditions and goals. The aim is to strengthen participation, independence, and, when possible, create pathways to internships, work, or studies.

As a work consultant, you will be part of DV Slussen, a mapping unit that works to investigate the resources and needs of new participants. You will become part of a cross-professional team where knowledge exchange and collegial learning are important parts of the work. You are responsible for independently conducting individual mappings and, in collaboration with the participant and other actors, finding suitable and individually adapted activities. Placements can take place within our own operations, in company groups, or at workplaces on the open labour market.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education of at least three years, for example as a social worker, study and career counsellor, behavioural scientist, occupational therapist, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with people with, for example, intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or other individuals who are far from the labour market. You work in a coaching and motivating manner, have the ability to build trusting relationships, and meet people with curiosity, respect, and a solution-focused approach.

Requirements for the position:

• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• good digital competence and
• experience with documentation.
• A B-category driving licence for manual transmission is required.

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience working within LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations, labour market initiatives, or work rehabilitation.
• knowledge of Supported Employment (SE) and/or Individual Placement and Support (IPS)
• experience assessing activity or work capacity and collaborating with employers, authorities, and other actors.
