Your future employer

Right now, we at Effektiv in Varberg are looking for individuals knowledgeable in payroll administration and management for a summer position with our client in Varberg.

This means you will be employed by Effektiv and work as a consultant for our client during the summer of 2026.

What does the role offer?

In your role as a payroll administrator with our client in Varberg, you will become part of a knowledgeable and wonderful team, where you together handle tasks related to a payroll department, such as:

• Ensuring time reports, working time registers, and payroll data
• Supporting managers and employees with questions regarding salary, pensions, or collective agreements
• Assisting with expense management, employer certificates, and other related documentation
• Handling reporting and reconciliation with the internal finance department as well as external entities such as the Swedish Tax Agency and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, among others.

You will work full-time, on weekdays, during standard office hours with the possibility of flexible hours. The position is intended to start immediately and last until the end of August, or as otherwise agreed.

Who are you?

Aside from having some prior knowledge of payroll management, payroll processing, or payroll administration, we believe you are an organized and structured person with a high sense of service who:

• Has a secondary or post-secondary education in economics, preferably with a focus on payroll or HR
• Handles Swedish fluently in both speech and writing, with knowledge of English
• Has good computer and system skills

Furthermore, we believe you are a positive and driven person with good prioritization skills who thrives in collaboration with others, has a non-hierarchical approach, and a accommodating attitude. You gladly contribute joy and positivity to your colleagues while understanding the importance of details and careful work.
