You will step into an important investigation in a municipal urban environment where a growing station area requires thoughtful and sustainable parking solutions. The role involves creating a demand forecast for commuter parking and establishing a clear decision-making basis for how parking for both motor vehicles and bicycles should be planned in connection with public transport.

You work at the intersection of traffic planning, urban development, and sustainable travel. Here, you need to weigh together the current situation, planned construction, technical guidelines, and future needs to arrive at proposals that work both practically and strategically. This is a role for you who want to influence concrete planning decisions with great significance for the future station area.

• You plan and conduct a demand forecast for commuter parking as a basis for future parking solutions.
• You inventory existing parking areas in connection with the station and analyze the utilization rate.
• You investigate future needs for commuter parking for both motor vehicles and bicycles based on planned construction.
• You identify the area's prerequisites, estimate space requirements, and develop proposals and advice for the planning proposal.
• You propose sustainable parking measures, regulatory measures, and solutions for how payment can be handled.
• You prepare cost estimates for proposed measures and conduct supplementary investigations as needed.
• You present conclusions, act as support in discussions about parking solutions, and adjust action proposals if planning prerequisites change.
• You produce a written report with clear references and contribute with supporting material in connection with appeals if needed.

• At least 6 years of experience in similar assignments.
• Documented experience in conducting traffic investigations.
• Documented experience in leading investigations.
• Experience in similar assignments within the detailed planning process.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to conduct on-site inventories and participate in coordination meetings.

• Experience in delivering map data or geodata in SHP format.
• Experience in producing data in DWG format when requested.
• Experience in report deliveries with accessibility requirements according to EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1.
