Welcome to the Finance Department and the Business Control and Risk unit (VFSV), which supports management with content, progress, and follow-up in the work of fulfilling the mission and achieving our goals, as well as reporting back to the government.

The unit is responsible for the agency's management process as well as business planning and follow-up. The unit is also responsible for the agency's financial and operational risk management and overall follow-up of internal control and governance.

About the position

Svenska Kraft Network's mission has grown due to a comprehensive expansion of the transmission network and a changed energy market.

As an Operations Controller within the Business Control and Risk unit, you share responsibility for planning and monitoring operations at an agency-wide level. The role involves developing and maintaining methods and structures for the agency's planning and follow-up, together with others in the unit, and ensuring compliance by supporting and collaborating with managers and other controllers within the agency to ensure consensus, a holistic perspective, and progress.

Your duties also include analyzing and interpreting operational results, as well as compiling and processing complex material as a basis for discussion and decision-making for strategic progress.

Additionally, you may be involved in driving or participating in agency-wide investigation assignments and, if necessary, supporting other areas within the unit's mandate.

The duties require that you are accustomed to working independently and taking initiative, but also that you enjoy collaborating with others.

Education:

An academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.

You also have:

• At least 3 years of experience working with strategic planning or strategic implementation at a high level.
• Experience working with executive teams and/or boards.
• Experience with business control and follow-up in complex organizations.
• Very good communicative and pedagogical skills and experience in presenting clear presentation material.
• Ability to take a holistic perspective.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
