LW Sweden is Hiring a Financial Accountant

Role Description

As a Financial Accountant, you are responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and legal accounting for the entire group. You are a key figure in the finance function, working both operationally and strategically with closing, reporting, accounting principles, and process development. You also serve as a support to the CFO on financial matters.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accounting in the parent company and overall coordination of accounting in the group's subsidiaries.
• Lead and quality-assure monthly, quarterly, and annual closing as well as annual reports according to K3.
• Ensure that the group complies with current accounting rules, legal requirements, and internal policies.
• Coordinate and quality-assure group reporting and handle consolidation.
• Work closely with the CFO on financial matters.
• Continuous follow-up and analysis of balance sheets, as well as handling reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
• Responsible for preparations for audits.
• Support other staff with accounting issues.
• Initiate and drive improvement and digitalization projects within the accounting area.
• Participate in the development and documentation of routines and processes within accounting and reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics or equivalent relevant academic education.
• At least 2 years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• Confident in working with various financial systems and good Excel skills.
• Experience in leading or participating in improvement and development projects.
