Job Description Background & Assignment Description

A security function within a socially vital operation is responsible for requirement setting, support, coordination, and follow-up of the organization's work with security-cleared procurements. The function handles the entire process from security assessments to the signing and follow-up of security clearance agreements.

The operation works to ensure that security clearance is maintained during procurements, contract signing, and collaboration with external parties. The work is closely linked to compliance with current security clearance legislation.

As a business developer with a focus on security-cleared procurement, you will have a responsible assignment to develop and improve working methods, processes, and governance in the area. The role is central to ensuring efficient, quality-assured, and appropriate processes that support the operation's security work.

Responsibilities

The assignment includes among other things:

• Identify development needs and areas for improvement within the operation's processes and working methods.
• Map, analyze, and document current working methods and processes.
• Establish, develop, and implement structures for systematic security clearance work.
• Drive and support change and improvement initiatives within the business area.
• Contribute to the development of routines, methods, and governing documents.

Other duties that may occur

• Support the operation in the creation and review of security-related assessments.
• Conduct suitability tests and assessments of suppliers and partners.
• Provide support and advice on matters concerning security clearance and related processes.

Preliminary start date: 2026-10-01

End date: latest until 2029-10-01

Requirements

1. The consultant must have at least 5 years of work experience in security clearance work, including work with the development, governance, or follow-up of security clearance processes at a strategic level.
2. The consultant must have at least 2 years of experience in business or process development within security clearance, security operations, or other regulated activities.
3. The consultant must have at least 2 years of work experience in independently leading, planning, executing, and following up on projects.
4. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

1. The consultant should have at least 2 years of work experience from the public sector.
2. The consultant should have at least 2 years of work experience in change management.
3. The consultant should have at least 2 years of work experience with special security clearance assessments.
4. The consultant should have at least 2 years of work experience with exposure to security-sensitive operations.
