Olovslundskolan is located in western Jakobsberg. Approximately 620 students attend the school, from preschool class up to grade 6, and we also have an adapted primary school with students in grades 1–6. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged and receptive teacher with a positive outlook! Your duties will be as a teaching teacher at the middle school level (grades 4–6) with mentorship responsibilities for your class. Together with other educators in the work team, you are responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges students to activity, learning, and responsibility. You want to contribute to pedagogical development and use current research, applying it in your work. You plan and follow up on teaching, and analyze and assess the results.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Cooperate easily with students, colleagues, guardians, and other staff. You relate to children and adults in a receptive manner, listening, communicating, and resolving conflicts constructively. You see collegial learning as a matter of course and a prerequisite for creating new and deepened knowledge.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently. You develop students' ability to learn and involve them in the planning of operations. You have high and positive expectations of students and are solution-focused. Furthermore, you have a strong will to work towards creating the best pedagogical conditions for students.
• Have a positive attitude towards work and act in accordance with decisions, operational plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.
• Have good self-insight, are confident in yourself and your pedagogical leadership, and have the ability to take leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You work independently and are flexible.

Requirements:

• Registered teacher in Swedish/Social Studies (SO).

Merits:

• Qualification for grades 4–6.
• Qualification in Swedish as a Second Language (SVA).
• Experience in mentorship.
• Teaching experience.

Duration: 6 months or longer.
