We are now looking for you who want to work as a teacher at the lower secondary level (preschool class to grade 3).

Skarpatorpsskolan is located in the district of Skarpnäck and has a total of approximately 560 students and 100 employees. The school is divided into three buildings: one for the lower secondary level, one for the middle and upper secondary levels, and one for adapted basic education. The school has three parallel classes at the lower secondary level and two parallel classes at the middle and upper secondary levels.

Skarpnäck was built in the 1980s and consists mainly of apartment blocks and terraced houses. The school is located in the middle of the area and is close to nature. Skarpatorpsskolan is located near the Skarpnäck metro station and has several bus lines from different parts of Stockholm. It is easy to get to the school.

Your role

You will teach at the lower secondary level and work together with a leisure-time center teacher.

You will be part of a work team and a subject group. The teachers have a subject group meeting once a week where teaching and knowledge development are discussed. Topics covered include formative assessment, language-developing working methods, cooperative learning, and digital competence. Joint assessment is carried out at teacher meetings at least once a month.

Your skills and experience

Requirements: You have a teaching license.

Requirements: You are subject-qualified in Mathematics, Swedish, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Technology for grades F-3.

Merits: Previous experience teaching in the aforementioned subjects in grades F-3.

You master Swedish in speech and writing.

You are accustomed to working on various digital platforms such as Teams and DigiExam.

You are driven, solution-focused, and bring your own ideas to help develop our school together.

Interviews will take place on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
