About the Business

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) has approximately 120 employees, with clinics in Härnösand, Sollefteå, Sundsvall/Ånge, and Örnsköldsvik. In Sundsvall, day activities are also conducted in-house, and inpatient care is provided in collaboration with adult psychiatry and child and adolescent medicine. CAP receives children and adolescents with serious child psychiatric issues requiring specialized interventions. We use evidence-based treatment methods based on systemic, psychodynamic, and cognitive perspectives. All treatment takes place in close collaboration with the family, other networks, and other healthcare providers such as schools and social services. Within CAP, there are opportunities for education and further training.

At the clinic, counselors, psychologists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and managers work. As a medical secretary, you will assist other staff with administration/medical record keeping, registration of measurement points, some invoicing, ordering materials for the clinic, and introducing new staff to the medical record system.

We are now looking for a medical secretary to join us. The position is a full-time temporary assignment for 12 months, with a start date as soon as possible according to agreement.

Responsibilities

• Patient administration
• Dictation and transcription
• Administrative support to other staff groups

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is educated as a medical secretary or healthcare administrator.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Has a valid B-driver's license.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have completed a COSMIC course.
• Have work experience within psychiatry and involuntary care.
• Have work experience with diagnostic classification.
• Have previously worked with children and young people or within CAP.
• Have additional language skills.
