Do you want to step in and work extra as a temporary switchboard operator when regular staff is absent? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

About the assignment

We are looking for a switchboard operator for our client in central Härnösand. Working hours are typically Monday–Friday between 08:00–16:30.

You will work extra as needed to cover for regular staff absence, such as during illness or vacation. The need varies, but we expect you to be available to work an average of about 2–3 days per week. Shifts are sometimes booked with short notice, so we appreciate that you are a morning person. We have a higher demand during holidays and the summer season.

A background check will be conducted before the assignment starts.

Your responsibilities

• Handling incoming calls on the switchboard
• Receiving documents/mail and occasional visitors at a small reception desk
• Transferring calls to the correct person
• Regular computer work as a primary tool

Customer service and empathy towards others, both over the phone and at the reception desk, are very important parts of the job. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is empathetic, pedagogical, and outgoing.

Your qualifications

• Work experience in reception/switchboard operations
• Good computer skills
• Completed upper secondary education (high school diploma)
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Available to step in as needed, at least 2–3 days per week
