We at Vindex are now looking for an experienced accounting consultant for an interim assignment in Sundsvall. This assignment is suitable for you who want to work part-time in a flexible role where you get the opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting and reporting to a business in need of reinforcement during a limited period.

About the role

In the role of accounting consultant, you will work closely with the finance department and be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping and reporting. The assignment is approximately 30% and spans a period of about six months. You will be employed as a consultant through Vindex and step into a role where your experience will quickly make a difference in the daily financial work.

Main responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Monthly and period-end closing
• Reporting to internal stakeholders
• Account reconciliations and quality assurance of accounting
• Support in financial analysis and follow-up
• Other common tasks within the accounting field

Qualifications

• Academic education in accounting, finance, or equivalent relevant area
• Previous experience as an accounting consultant or similar role
• Good knowledge of ongoing bookkeeping and closing processes
• Experience with reporting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in financial systems and Excel
• Good understanding of accounting workflows
