Business Developer in Elderly Care – Social Services in Ånge Municipality

We are now looking for you who have experience working within elderly care, preferably in leading or developmental roles, to become a key person in our continued development of elderly care services.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Business Developer will focus on the new Social Services Act and other important reforms. You will become part of the work leading elderly care into the welfare of the future with new working methods that are preventive, promoting, equitable, gender-equal, and evidence-based. This is important work to meet the challenges of the future with an aging population.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Business Developer, you need to have a good ability to structure, plan, and drive complex development processes. You work systematically and have the ability to see the big picture without losing focus on important details. The role involves many contact areas, both internally and externally, which requires you to be communicative and able to express yourself clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.

You have a natural aptitude for creating and maintaining good collaborations and thrive in an environment where cooperation is crucial to achieving results. As a person, you are self-initiating, take the initiative for improvements, and understand the importance of anchoring and involving others in the change process. We also value curiosity, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach. You are driven, curious, and want to make a difference.

In the role, you will develop and implement strategies for business development within elderly care, identify and propose new solutions and methods to optimize care and support. You will work closely with management to ensure that the organization's goals are met and will be part of the management group. Additionally, you are responsible for analyzing and evaluating processes and results in the operations.

  • We are looking for you who have experience from elderly care and municipal health care, as well as an academic education in the field.
  • You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have good leadership skills.
  • You can work both independently and in a team and share our commitment to improving the quality of life for the elderly.
  • A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

About the Operations

Here, you are given the opportunity to help develop Ånge Municipality's social services by sharing our passion for creating hope for the future. As a Business Developer, you will work at a strategic level close to department managers and the strategic management group of the social services department. The focus will be on elderly care. You are a strategist with strong drive who requires independence and flexibility.

Ånge Municipality offers the possibility of some remote work if the operations allow, as well as a fitness hour and an annual fitness allowance. A six-month probation period may be applied.
