BAE Systems Hägglunds is currently recruiting Business Controllers!

Your future challenge

As a Business Controller, you combine traditional controlling tasks with proactive development to align with the business's commercial goals. You work in the line organization together with the Area Manager and are part of their leadership team. Functionally, you report to the Head of Business Controlling. Through your forecasts, calculations, and analyses, you contribute to ensuring the business's results and development towards set goals. You act as the link to Finance within the function and take responsibility for financial tasks. The Business Controller leads the function's work with financial plans and forecasts, and serves as the function's Risk Manager.

Your key responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end closing, work with ongoing financial planning, and drive budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support and challenge the line business to meet profitability and other requirements through relevant analyses, risk assessments, leadership, and control.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to increased focus on efficiency and cost awareness.
• Develop economic models, routines, and processes.
• Drive and participate in ad-hoc projects and act as an expert in financial matters.
• Work on investment projects.

About you

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in economics, or alternatively a technical education with a focus on economics. You have several years of experience in comparable roles and responsibilities, with good experience in independent business-oriented controlling work and working in business and economic systems. You may have experience as a Finance Manager and now wish to work closer to the operational business.

You have the ability to work both strategically and in detail. You communicate your results fluently in both Swedish and English. You have very good skills in Excel, and experience with SAP is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, it is important that you are confident in your competence and as a person. You are driven, proactive, and quick to grasp complex contexts. As a skilled analyst, you understand and solve complex issues and clearly communicate conclusions to others. The role requires you to be a good communicator and to thrive in a dynamic environment where change is a natural part of everyday life.
